Where things are more difficult with variable magnetic fields, even if they are rather weak. It is known, for example, that many insects live on internal biological clocks, and the order is kept strictly up to minutes. But when, under the influence of solar activity on the planet, there was a magnetic storm, the observers noticed that in the behavior of insects and cockroaches, confusion began. And the closer the period of field oscillations and the frequency of biological rhythms of organisms turned out, the more noticeable this effect was.

Studies have shown that, depending on the solar activity in the human blood, the number of leukocytes changes: at high solar activity, the concentration of leukocytes decreases, and vice versa. The daily dynamics of radiosensitivity is the subject of many studies that showed that the result of radiation exposure to a person at any time depends on the state of the magnetic field at the immediate site of the research.

And how does the pulsation of the Earth's magnetic field, caused by the activity of our luminary, affect man? Is there really a correlation between these phenomena and, for example, the number of heart attacks? Yes, there is, but not the same as we recently imagined it. It turned out that not the number of heart attacks increases, but the number of their exacerbations. But why?

Experiments confirm the existence of a direct effect of the magnetic field of extremely low-frequency oscillations on the human body. Based on this information, we can conclude that during magnetic disturbances on Earth (that is, during magnetic storms), low-frequency variations of the magnetic field will adversely affect the health and health of people. In the Yerevan Medical Institute, the relationship between magnetic field perturbations and the incidence of myocardial infarction was investigated. Myocardial infarction is very convenient for research, as it is possible to clearly determine the time of its occurrence, and then correlate with the time of various helio-geophysical phenomena, for example, magnetic storms.

According to the researchers, our heart, maybe not so much mechanical as an electric motor. In healthy people, it appears to be somehow protected from the effects of external magnetic fields. Embraced by an ailment, the heart resists them much less.

It does not ignore magnetism and the plant world. Scientists have recently investigated the effect of magnetic fields on the growth and respiration of plants, as well as the process of seed germination. It was found that for most varieties of rye, corn, oats, barley, beans, salad, the orientation of their seeds by the embryo towards the southern magnetic pole caused their accelerated germination and accelerated growth of the root system. Scientists suggest that the direction of the earth's magnetic field can be a kind of coordinate for plants, on which the realization of their hereditary properties depends.
